Student Associate Membership
Student Associate membership is open to undergraduate students enrolled in 9 semester hours (or equivalent), or graduate students enrolled in 6 semester hours (or equivalent) in an accredited college or university or equivalent. Student members will now be eligible to take the review course and exam at the annual meeting (which is subject to cancellation one month out for low enrollment) or online. If the exam is passed the associate student member may state they have passed the exam on their resume or bio (as with the CPA) as long as membership status is current. The CHBC designation may not be used until the student associate member has met the requirements for active membership status. Student applicants cannot apply online. You must fax or mail the application along with your proof of enrollment or equivalent. Student members are not required to attend educational meetings and have no voting rights.
